Who do you think deserves recognition for helping breastfeeding mothers in the Madison area?
The Madison Breastfeeding Promotion Network and the Wisconsin Well Woman Program are seeking nominations for the 2008 Community Breastfeeding Promotion Awards. These awards will be presented at a ceremony on October 2 at 2:00 p.m. at the Warner Park Community Center in Madison, as a part of Breast Cancer Awareness month activities. (Women who breastfeed have a reduced risk of breast cancer.)
They want to recognize breastfeeding-friendly employers, businesses, and daycares as well as advocates and health care providers. If you want to submit a nomination or read more about the award, the information is below.
